Top Photo and Video Apps Performance in Hungary Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the top photo and video applications on the unified platform in Hungary showcased varied performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated significant activity in terms of revenue, downloads, and active users.

YouTube saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $173K in early March. Its weekly downloads, however, showed a declining trend from 4.4K to 1.9K by the end of March. The app maintained a robust user base with weekly active users fluctuating slightly around 6M.

FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor experienced a steady weekly revenue, reaching a high of approximately $21K in early March. Downloads peaked at 3.2K in late March, while active users showed a gradual increase, ending the quarter with about 22.6K.

CapCut - Video Editor showed a notable rise in revenue, reaching $20.6K mid-February. Download trends peaked at 19K at the start of the quarter but saw a decline to around 8.4K by March. Active users rose to 482K in mid-February, reflecting a dynamic engagement.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor experienced a gradual increase in revenue, peaking at approximately $15K in early March. Weekly downloads remained stable, averaging around 5K, with active users increasing to over 60K by the end of March.

Lastly, Google Photos: Backup & Edit reported a steady revenue, peaking at $10K in late February. Downloads showed a declining trend from 2.5K to 1.5K, while active users reached a peak of 1.23M at the end of March.
